Chapter 9.2

A lesson full of fist thumping, country-eraser playing, gossiping about who was ex prom queen and prom king ( I could never guess that ah beng was an ex prom king).

But i guess I got my revenge when the 3 of us simultaneously turned and laughed at him, leaving him bewildered). Him explaining how sexy black bra straps are on girls and them traumatising me to whistle blow on the free-rider in the group so my name can appear in the nanyang chronicle. =(

"You don want to blow the whistle on her? Okay then we blow the whistle on you"

Later in the lab,
"I caught you guys in the act!!" shouted by my groupmate from other projgrp who knew
:s very wrong. All 3 of us fell silent. For once they had no clever rebuttals for that.

" You are so nice and guai. I think u will make a good girlfriend."
(Quiet smile)

At least, my heart does not thump that fast now

People say, friends should hold no grudges
friends should be forgiving
friends should give without expecting anything back

But when I did the above, am I made a fool?
Because we were never friends to begin with
Friendship should be two way. It is too tiring to hold on.
Im not someone for you to vent your frustration on and discard when you do not need me.
Perhaps Im too naive to be hopeful, hopeful that you may be there to lend me a helping hand when Im down.

It is sad,
how friends break your heart,
perhaps I really should hold no expectation,
with no expectation, there comes no disappointment
this applies to friends too.
Or maybe, I was never a friend at all

I have learnt the hard way, not to hold any expectations any more.
I fell before and it was too painful to relive the pain.
Perhaps I will be happier to go with the flow,

Learn not to expect,
Learn to be happier and perharps, life will be kinder to me.

I learnt, the world does not turn for me alone.
And I am still learning to turn with it.
