Bleagh, i have been asked this Q so many times over these 3 weeks, that i did not flinch when the partner and the cab driver asked me this Q.

Alot of people has been asking me, whether that work is siong.
yes, siong in trying to fight for work.

They pay me 100plus a day to cut and paste paper.
This kind of work, also must fight over one.

Oh and i finally received my letter of increment.
The partner giving us the letter was nice.
"Liu Wei, so are u a local?"
"yup, Singaporean" (No flinch there)
"Liu Bang de Liu?"
"huh?" ( pauses and tries to think of who's Liu Bang. Oh, hes some ancient china official)
"yea. that Liu"
"haha Im also a Liu."
(tries hard to haha along. U know, its lunchtime, n its eating into my time)

"So its spelt as Lau?"
"Huh?"
"the hokkien dialact"
"nono, im not hokkien. me, hakka."

I really hate making small talk, and i think it shows on my face coz after talking to a few ppl next to me, Partner Liu turned to me and told me not to look so worried.

During lunch, everyone asked me to smile more.

Cannot. when i hold a smile for too long, my cheeks start to tremble.
Flabby cheeks, no muscles. Its like when ur arms are flabby and u hold things for too long, yr arms will start to tremble right?

At 4pm, "Who stays near Harbourfront?"
I swear my hand never reacted so fast b4

At 4.05pm, I was already downstairs waiting for a cab. Hee. the whole office was envious of me being able to go dispatch stuff and being able to charge time for it.

My happiness was shortlived. I managed to make an embarrassment out of myself by queue-ing at the wrong end of the taxistand.

I perched myself right in front of the first guy in the Q and managed to look so righteous that, after the first guy went off, the angmoh behind came up to me and said this is where the Q start? (he was there before me)

"yup"

And so the Q continued behind me.

Soon, theres a commotion about the Q coz ppl were starting to be blur about the Q cept for me.

And i was made to stand at the right end
